The Tucson Department of Transportation & Mobility is responsible for moving our citizens safely and enhancing economic development opportunities. The Department consists of 9 Divisions: Director's Office, Administrative Services, Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Planning, Streets & Traffic Maintenance, Transit, Park Tucson, and Real Estate.
Requirements for this position require a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, Business or Public Administration (or closely related field) and seven years of progressive transportation management experience. A Master's degree is preferred.*The City of Tucson values the safety of our employees, our residents, our community, and our visitors. Specific requirements are as follows:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, Business or Public Administration (or closely related field). A Master's degree is preferred
Seven years of progressive transportation management experience
Over seven years of supervisory management experience in the administration of a large multi-functional transportation operation
Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arizona is preferred

Creditable service does not accrue during any reemployment period.
