Coordinates the Property Management program within the Real Estate Division using independent judgment in performing the following:
Is distinguished from the lower level classification of Senior Property Agent by greater complexity, sensitivity, and interaction with top level management and team leader responsibilities.
Performs advanced administrative activities for Administrator review and approval, including special projects, preparation of project budgets and assists with the implementation, evaluation and interpretation of department policies, projects and procedures.
Performs all components and oversight of professional level acquisitions and dispositions, processes complex property management and leasing functions, manages real estate consultants, participates in upper level meetings involving these functions using discretion and independent judgment.
Negotiates, finalizes, and recommends legal and transactional documents for Administrator and Departmental approval. Initiates and tracks complex appraisal assignments, environmental and archeological studies, development plans, site plans, subdivision plats and engineering plans to make recommendations regarding the same.
Manages, researches, coordinates, and determines property management program goals, priorities and functions, establishing time lines, monitoring progress, writing, reviewing and editing complex reports and presentations prepared for administration.
Manages, City owned property that is not assigned to a specific department by inspecting and coordinating use and maintenance of those sites.
Oversees and manages all temporary revocable easements, rights of entry and other requests.
Assures compliance with all Federal, State and local laws, regulations, and directives. Produces, performs and reviews GIS output and ensures accurate presentation.
Plans, schedules and drafts complex Mayor and Council communications and memorandum for real estate actions and participates in public meetings as requested.

The following information pertains to driving requirements for this classification with the City of Tucson. Under "Driving Level" None, Secondary or Primary, refers to the driving responsibility as it relates to the essential functions of the classification. License Type, is just that, the type of Arizona Driving License required for the classification. If the position requires a Commercial Drivers License (CDL), the endorsements will be listed under "Endorsements." Under Safety Sensitive a "Yes" means employees with this classification are subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. License Type A,B,C,D,or M may require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage. Exceptions to classification driving requirement's may exist based on position.
