Manages facility electrical projects by coordinating design developments, scheduling projects, developing budgets, and coordinating construction activities. Hires the design team and construction team and reports construction progress.
Monitors projects to ensure adherence to project budgets and schedule. Coordinates changes as required.
Monitors the development of the electrical restructuring by managing the projects electrical load, profiling and procurement of energy services.
Designs, constructs, and initiates plant instrumentation, water control systems, and electrical power systems by analyzing, calculating, estimating cost and time, developing and reviewing detailed electrical and control system drawings, and specifications in compliance with ordinances.
Develops contract documents, analyzes schematics, oversees the incorporation of underground conduit, and represents the City with statewide or regional organizations.
Acts as a liaison between City agencies, consultants, contractors and the public.
