The County of Santa Cruz seeks an inclusive, engaged, and communicative Health Services Agency Director to lead our health services programs that promote, protect, and ensure access to services to support the health, recovery, and well-being of all in Santa Cruz County. The Director will be an experienced professional who has extensive experience in the public health and/or behavioral health programs and services, and have demonstrated experience overseeing multi-million dollar, complex, budgetary funding streams. This leader will cultivate a culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, and finds ways to connect with marginalized communities and removes barriers to healthcare access.  The successful candidate will be strategic, a relationship builder, politically savvy, and an exceptional advocate for those we serve.
