Main Purpose of Job

This position works directly with the Assistant Director and the Administrator of the Legal Measures Department, Central Collection Unit and is responsible for the supervision of the judgment/post-judgment section of the department. This position researches judgment accounts to determine the next process to proceed with in order to collect the delinquent judgment debts. Daily contact with CCU staff, judgment debtors, court staff and officials, attorneys for debtors, CCU's OAG staff, state agency staff as well as title and check payroll companies are required. This position also assists in planning and the implementation of new and revised programs and procedures.

This is a special appointment position that serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Each candidate must have:

Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Four years of experience in administrative or professional work.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Two years of experience in court processes.
Three years of supervisory experience.
