As part of the Maryland State Department of Education, the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) provides services to assist students with disabilities prepare for the work world, vocational rehabilitation services to assist adults with significant disabilities who are seeking to enter or reenter the workforce, and the adjudication of Social Security disability claims for the citizens of Maryland.

POSITION DUTIES
- Manage, coordinate, and monitor the operations of the WTC Residential and Enrichment Services
- Provide leadership and technical assistance to staff to ensure that students needs are met
- Develop, modify, implement, and evaluate program policies and procedures
- Monitor and assess staff performance
- Assure records of service reflect timely, accurate, and complete information associated with student progress. Work collaboratively with Center staff regarding student progress, behaviors, and outcomes
- Manage, coordinate, and monitor the WTC operation after core hours
- Serve on agency Emergency Response Team in accordance with agency policies and COOP
- Provide leadership and technical support to staff during emergency situations
- Serve as liaison and communicate with Center administration during emergency situations and critical issues involving WTC Operations and student behaviors
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience providing guidance and counseling and managing behaviors with individuals with significant disabilities.
- Experience supervising staff and/or project management.
