Main Purpose of Job

To support the Family Services (FS) Division in providing and maintaining statistical reports for programs within the local Department. This position will assist in the data entry and analysis of local data points to support the State. This position will monitor and provide data reports for any programs implemented within the division or Agency where data is required. The incumbent will coordinate and develop data tracking processes at the discretion of the QA Supervisor with respect to Child and Family Service Reviews, Continuous Quality Improvement, program data collection and tracking, etc. This position will work within the agency at the direction of the QA Supervisor to understand. data related policy and accurately enter needed data timely.

POSITION DUTIES

•Provides data analysis and reports from a variety of sources including but not limited to program compliance, program integrity, corrective action responses, process effectiveness, secondary case reviews, agency appeal hearings, statistics, internal and external audits; identifies data trends and potential root causes to establish or improve monitoring; worker compliance and reporting procedures through the ongoing reviews of CJAMS, data reports, audit findings etc. 
•Assist in conducting independent cases reviews and provide feedback to address and or correct issues within case reviews brought to the attention of the QA supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must meet all minimum (and selective) qualifications to be considered, and to appear on the list of people eligible for hire. Please read all requirements before applying.

Experience: Six years of experience, two years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations and an additional four years of professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations for the required experience.

2. Candidates may substitute graduate level education at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at the rate of 30 credit hours per year for up to six years of the required experience.

3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.

One year of experience performing research and data collection or management using a data collection system.

One year experience using Google and Microsoft Suite.

One year experience reviewing cases and providing corrective actions feedback.

Personal Leave- new State employees are awarded six (6) personnel days annually (prorated based on start date). 

Annual Leave – ten (10) days of accumulated annual leave per year.

Sick Leave – fifteen (15) days of accumulated sick leave per year.

Parental Leave – up to sixty (60) days of paid parental leave upon the birth or adoption of a child.

Holidays – State employees also celebrate at least twelve (12) holiday per year.

Pension – State employees earn credits towards a retirement pension.

Positions may be eligible for telework.
