This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.

LOCATION OF POSITION
Annapolis, Maryland
POSITION DUTIES
Provide executive leadership to operational divisions: RAD; CD; TSD; GAD; BRE; FDBI, supporting the organizational mission, strategic objectives, and revenue operations for the State of Maryland. Oversee the revenue operations portfolio, directing tax processing, compliance, and taxpayer service functions that support more than 3.4 million individual taxpayers and 250,000 businesses each year, while safeguarding more than $27B in annual State revenue. Lead the execution of a cross-division effort to reduce manual work ahead of the tax administration system modernization effort. Serves as the primary advisor to the Chief Deputy Comptroller on all policy and decision-making for revenue operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Manages and coordinates financial and staff planning and procurement activities.
