The Comptroller of Maryland is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as our next Director of Information Technology.

All ITD employees are available for on-call support and will be required to occasionally work hours outside their normal work schedule to include holidays. Compensatory time will be given for time worked outside normal work hours
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Overall IT experience: 8 years of progressively advancing experience in information technology to include hands-on background in multiple IT domains such as infrastructure, applications, security, networking, and data systems.
Technical: Hands-on experience in infrastructure management, including:
Cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
** For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service. If you possess a degree obtained outside of the United States, please submit a detailed, course-by-course evaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalency evaluating members identified at http://www.naces.org/members.html.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Hands-on experience in infrastructure management, including:
Zero Trust platforms
PaloAlto firewalls
Enterprise Resource Planning systems
SQL Server
SAN/NAS
Telephony
Enterprise software rollouts
