Main Purpose of Job

The Director of Digital Workplace Innovation leads the modernization of the agency’s productivity, collaboration, and information management capabilities. This role advances the strategic use of Microsoft 365, AI-enabled tools, and low-code solutions to streamline business processes, strengthen organizational efficiency, and support a secure and effective hybrid workforce.

POSITION DUTIES

Position duties will include but not be limited to the following: 
• Lead enterprise adoption and optimization of Microsoft 365 
• Manage structured intake processes 
• Determine solution approaches across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, AI, and enterprise systems
• Deliver workflow automation, AI-enhanced tools, and low-code applications 
• Define objectives, outcomes, and KPIs for digital workplace initiatives 
• Oversee implementation, governance alignment, and risk mitigation 
• Lead training, communications, and user adoption programs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Five years of experience in IT, digital workplace, business process improvement, or related fields

Notes: Additional experience may substitute year-for-year for the degree requirement

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

• Two years of experience designing or administering Microsoft 365 solutions

• One year of experience developing automation or AI-based solutions

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience leading enterprise Microsoft 365 or Power Platform programs

• Experience with workflow automation and low-code development

• Experience delivering training and organizational change management

• Supervisory or team lead experience

· Personal Leave - new State employees are awarded six (6) personnel days annually (prorated based on start date).

· Pension - State employees earn credit towards a retirement pension.
