Main Purpose of Job
Reporting to the Grant Manager of the Office of Administration, this supervisory position will oversee the financial administration of grants, managing post-award financial activities )to include federal drawdowns and setting up PCA codes), supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The primary purpose of this position is to review and monitor expenditures, ensuring compliance with budgets and ensuring the effective and efficient functioning of the grant fiscal functions for the Office of Administration. This position oversees the accounting, preparation of cash drawdowns, grant reconciliation, ACH payments, and preparation of journal entries.
POSITION DUTIES
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Manage and supervise assigned staff to the unit to include: This includes but is not limited to: all aspects of supervision, including recruitment, hiring, training, performance reviews and taking disciplinary action when necessary (with guidance of Administration leadership); ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the work of the supervised staff; ensuring all work is completed within State and federal guidelines. Review and approve subordinates'' work product and document results of the work product. Track and document performance metrics of subordinates' work product. Conduct and document weekly one-on-one meetings with each direct report to obtain status of assignments, provide constructive performance feedback, discuss employee's concern, etc.
Maintain and document communication with assigned program leadership and directors:Act as the primary point-of-contact for all assigned programs' staff. Conduct monthly meetings with program leadership and directors to update the on the status of grant balances, PCA codes and other fiscal items.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: 2 years of professional or management experience, including supervision and accounting responsibilities.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Excel (Macro's Pivot Tables and Advanced Formulas)
Experiece in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Experience with Grant Accounting
Experience in Year-End Closing/Close-Out
