Main Purpose of Job
This position is eligible for hybrid telework.
POSITION DUTIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work, psychology, education, counseling, or a related field.
Experience: Six years professional experience in health services, three years must have been in Health Services professional clinical or administrative services in areas other than Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities or Addictions and three years must have been at the managerial or supervisory level.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Master’s degree or a Doctorate degree in a health or human services field from an accredited college or university for up to two years of the required general experience.
2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in another field plus an additional year of professional experience in health services for the required education.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Health Services Administration specialty codes in the health related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing complex programs, services, or operations in a government, healthcare, or human services environment.
- Experience providing leadership, guidance, and support to staff and teams.
- Experience managing grants, contracts, budgets, fiscal monitoring, and program reporting requirements.
- Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, and operational improvements.
