Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position, which functions as Chief Operating Officer, is to administer all non-clinical operations of John L. Gildner - RICA (Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents). This position is responsible for supervising the daily aspects of the following services: Emergency Management; Personnel Services; Plant Management; Housekeeping Services; Food Services; Purchasing and Supply Operations; Environment of Care and Emergency Nursing Services. This position will perform duties as deputy to RICA's Chief Executive Officer, and assists in all aspects of management, JC (Joint Commission) accreditation, and state licensure.  The position also provides administrative assistance to various clinical, residential, and school programs and staff within the RICA center. JLG-RICA is a facility that provides total service to clients within its residential program, clients within its day treatment program, Hospital Overstay patients, and FFC youth.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in health, human services, business, accounting, or a management field and five (5) years of professional administrative experience, including two (2) years at a managerial or supervisory level. A related Master’s degree will substitute for one (1) year of general experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess knowledge of/and experience with budget preparation and management as well as experience working in a residential treatment center for adolescents with emotional disabilities and court-involved youth.

SELECTION PROCESS
