Introduction
The Maryland Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH)
is located in Hunt Valley, MD. We are a State agency charged with conducting
fair and timely hearings in 500 different types of cases for over 30 State
agencies.
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented
professional with exceptional multitasking capabilities and a strict adherence
to confidentiality protocols.
The salary will be dependent on experience but general range is $56,824 to $60,304 annually. (State
salary guidelines do apply for current state employees within budgetary
allowances.)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: One year of administrative staff or professional work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

One year of accounts receivable experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants who possess the

- Experience creating, editing, reviewing and processing
correspondence
- Experience processing incoming and
outgoing mail.
