POSITION DUTIES
The Office of Human Resources is looking for an analytical and organized individual to provide support for the HR team. In this role, you will assist with many functions and tasks requiring a broad knowledge of the State Personnel Management System rules, regulations, and procedures.
This position performs a multitude of functions, including but not limited to:
- Content editing and management
- Compliance auditing
- Answering inquiries from the public and internal stakeholders
- Managing reports and employee files
- And more!
This role will support the team in the Office of Human Resources and serve as a point of contact for agency-wide employees. Employees in this role report directly to the Senior HR Business Partner.
This position is hybrid-telework eligible after successful completion of training.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: One year of administrative staff or professional work.
Notes:
- Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
- Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Workday or other HRIS Technology
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe suites, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of proper grammar and concise writing abilities
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
