This involves the analysis, reconciliation and testing of data generated through various automated jobs. Performance of these reconciliations/verifications requires an excellent knowledge of agency refund formulas, tax rates and the agency’s automated method of calculation. Because refund disbursements are printed off-site by the Maryland State Treasurer’s office, this position must coordinate the exchange of data between agencies that is necessary for accurate and timely reconciliation. Priority vouchers are audited within one day of receipt and non-priority vouchers are audited within two days of receipt. Verifies tax treatment of these voucher payments.
