Hybrid schedule available (up to three telework days permitted each week).

POSITION DUTIES

The Operations Coordinator provides operational support in the management of Tile I programs in the Office of Federal Programs (OFP). The Coordinator reports directly to the OFP Executive Director in the Division of Student Support and Federal Programs. This position provides administrative and office management support to the OFP Executive Director and Title I Director to enhance and facilitate the operation, and maintenance of federal programs to ensure compliance with State and federal guidelines. Key responsibilities include managing workflows, overseeing administrative tasks, maintaining supplies, handling scheduling, and assisting with financial and human resources tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides program management support for Office of Title I from conception to execution, including detailed project planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Analyzes requests and information and determines best course of action.
  • Acquires and allocates resources.
  • Provides program and administrative support to the Executive Director of Federal Programs.
  • Assists in the development and dissemination of the Local Consolidated ESSA Plan.
  • Maintains inventory records and monitors office supplies.
  • Serves a liaison to the Office of Human Resources to coordinate staffing and New Employee onboarding.
  • Assists in the development of training slides and materials for presentations.
  • Assists in preparation and coordination of meetings and events, including scheduling and travel arrangements.  
  • Provides administrative support to the Office of Title I.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: Four years of administrative staff or professional work.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to four years of the required experience.

2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university for the required experience.

3. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university for the required experience.

4. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work related to the administration of rules, regulations, policy, procedures and processes, or overseeing or coordinating unit operations or functioning as a staff assistant to a higher ranking commissioned officer on a year-for- year basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.

 

  • Experience in office management and coordination of multiple managers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and online productivity tools.
  • Experience working with grants.
  • Experience working with or processing financial records, expense reports and/or invoices.
  • Experience in accurately preparing monthly reports.
  • Experience preparing documents, correspondence and presentations.
  • Experience providing coordination and program support to projects and initiatives.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
