Main Purpose of Job

This position will assist in the data entry and analysis of local data points to support the State and monitor the local implementation of improvement plans, program compliance, and best practice. This position will be responsible for conducting peer reviews and analyzing compiled data to identify trends, help inform our practice, and improve both program compliance and program quality. This position will provide daily data analysis and consult with the Assistant Director to ensure accuracy of reporting.

POSITION DUTIES

  • Provide customer service to both internal and external customers that meets or exceeds the standards set by the Department. 
  • Provides data analysis and reports from a variety of sources including but not limited to program compliance, program integrity, corrective action responses, process effectiveness, secondary case reviews, agency appeal hearings, statistics, internal and external audits; Identifies data trends and potential root causes to establish or improve monitoring, worker compliance and reporting procedures through the ongoing reviews of CJAMS, data reports, audit findings etc.  
  • Participate in the planning, formulation and modification of strategies to resolve identified compliance deficiencies and address agency audit findings; Develop tools, i.e., charts, tables, etc. to relay statistical information to leadership in an easily accessible format; Consults with other agency staff to stay abreast of policy that may affect programmatic data. 
  • Assist in conducting independent case reviews and provide feedback to address and/or correct issues within case reviews brought to the attention the Assistant Director; Other position specific related duties as assigned by a Services Supervisor or Administrator.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must meet all minimum (and selective) qualifications to be considered, and to appear on the list of people eligible for hire. Please read all requirements before applying.

Experience: Six years of experience, two years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations and an additional four years of professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations for the required experience.

2. Candidates may substitute graduate level education at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at the rate of 30 credit hours per year for up to six years of the required experience.

3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.

  • One year of experience in the Administration of a Social Service Organization.
  • One year of experience in completing data for accuracy. 
  • One year of experience in developing practices to improve compliance and programs in a Social Service environment.

EXAMINATION PROCESS

The examination will consist of a rating of your education, training, and experience as presented on your application and as they relate to the requirements of the position. You may be asked to complete a supplemental questionnaire.  The supplemental questionnaire may be used as part of the rating process.  Therefore, it is important that you provide complete and accurate information on your application.

For education obtained outside the U.S., a copy of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service is required prior to hire.
