Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
- Monitor and delegate staff workloads to achieve program performance goals, including case processing timelines, and data accuracy targets for Child Support, the Non-Custodial Parent Employment Program (NPEP), and Parents as Partners Program (PAP).
- Monitor specialists’ daily work logs, including Master, Application log, Court Docket, and Referrals, as well as monthly reports for completeness.
- Monitor all case maintenance tasks, documentation requirements and contact notes to meet target goals, audit requirements, and current policies and timelines.
- Review, approve, and assign work to Child Support staff, providing training as needed. Oversee and correct cases that are selected for Data Reliability Audits, Quality Control Reviews, or other reviews, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with Federal, State, or local policy.
- Monitor account adjustments and budgets for accuracy and timeliness according to Federal, State, and local policies and procedures. The incumbent is also required to provide customer service to both internal and external parties that meets or exceeds Department standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Eight years of experience, four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations and an additional four years of professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute graduate level education at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at the rate of 30 credit hours per year for up to six years of the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.
- One year of experience in supervision.
- One year of experience monitoring budgets, or developing and analyzing data and/or reports, or monitoring and evaluating program compliance.
- One year of experience using Child Support Management System (CSMS), or WORKS (Work Opportunity Record Keeping System), or E&E (Enrollment & Eligibility) Systems, or Google and/or Microsoft Suites.
- One year of experience communicating with internal and external customers and/or community stakeholders.
