Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
- Executes plans for the LDSS’ operations under TANF II.
- Develops service offerings for every segment of customer population in economic support and work activities that will meet Job Placement goals.
- Develops annual Program 10 budget and composes LDSS PASS plan and contributes to the Resource Sharing Agreement.
- Supervise a multidisciplinary team (Supervisors, Specialists, and Clerks) and manage the full employee lifecycle, including performance reviews (PEP) and active coaching.
- Monitors workload production and caseload assignment levels.
- Supervises and directs operations of on- and off-site Vendor Staff.
- Reviews and negotiates new vendor proposals for work program services.
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness of data entered into work program electronic systems (WORKS) by local department and vendor staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Eight years of experience, four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations and an additional four years of professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute graduate level education at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at the rate of 30 credit hours on a year-for-year basis for up to six years of the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.
• Six months of experience demonstrating in-depth knowledge of federal and state welfare policies including TANF, SNAP, and Medical Assistance.
• Six months of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Six months of experience in using technology (e.g. spreadsheets, PowerPoint, database entry, and reporting etc.) to plan, analyze, and track data.
• One year of experience with oral and written communication.
