The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) is seeking dedicated candidates to fill important roles within our department. Main Purpose of Job
The Director of Property
Management responsibilities are to manage the Departmental use of the State vehicles, and implementation of the policies and practices as
to the proper use of and accountability for the Department’s land, buildings,
equipment, materials and supplies, and vehicles. The Director will function as a lead with planning, design, development, and
implementation of automated asset/inventory management programs and systems,
insuring publication, notification, and training of policies and procedures.
They will also review, track and provide special reportings for
Departmental compliance, insuring interpretation and execution of policies and
procedures for the total value of the Department’s assets in excess of one
billion dollars at over 100 locations throughout the State.
POSITION DUTIES
Ensure management and staff follow State policies and procedures regarding management of fixed assets and materials and supplies. Ensure fixed asset inventories are audited on a regular basis to ensure integrity of the inventory process.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited college or university.
Experience: At least five years of experience working in Property and Fleet Management, and at least three years of experience in a Supervisory capacity.
