Main Purpose of Job
MSDE is looking for candidates for a paid, full-time Infrastructure intern to assist MSDE's Information Technology Branch.
** This will be a 6 month internship**
The primary objective of this internship is to support core web application development and maintenance tasks. The chosen candidate will ensure the timely and high-quality development of new and existing web applications by providing dedicated, focused support.
Duties Include:
• Development & Maintenance: Assist in building, maintaining, and implementing new features for web applications, including troubleshooting and debugging existing code.
• Project Focus: Direct support for the critical Grants AFR project rebuild.
• Quality Assurance: Utilize accessibility checker software to identify and resolve A11Y issues (Accessibility Compliance) before final review.
• Team Contribution: Participate in code reviews and assist with testing and deployment processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
60 credit hours in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Interested applicants should have a focus on application programming/development
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
