Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
- Responsible for the management of the Central Registry Unit in accordance with 45 CFR Ch Ill§ 303.7, for the purpose of processing intergovernmental cases under the provisions of Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA).
- Responsible for the management of the Intergovernmental Services Unit in accordance with 45 CFR Ch. Ill. § 303. 7, 302.35 and 302.36 for the purposes of providing case status reviews to out-of -state child support agencies and locating parents to establish paternity, and to establish and enforce court ordered child support cases.
- Responsible for the management of the Intergovernmental Technical Projects to include; Child Support Enforcement Network/CSENet; Expanded Federal Parent Locator Services/Expanded FPLS; Query Interstate Cases for Kids/QUICK; Electronic Interstate Wage Withhold/ E-IWO; Interstate Roster and Referral Guide/lRG) in accordance with project management principles, Federal Parent Locator Service Software Change guidelines and data exchange agreements to ensure Federal compliance.
- Represents the Director, Division of Program Development and/or present at meetings, conferences, etc., usually based on subject matter expertise.
- Assists with budget preparations for CSA including budget development and modification for areas impacting Intergovernmental Programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Eight years of experience in administrative, professional or technical work, three years must have involved supervision of other employees or exercising responsibility for program development.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute graduate level education at an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 credit hours on a year-for-year basis for up to two years of the required general experience.
2. Candidates may substitute additional professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience at a rank of Corporal/Petty Officer or higher as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical, and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education, two years must have been in an administrative supervisory or consultative capacity.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of experience with project management.
- Two years of experience with customer service.
- Two years of experience with child support intergovernmental or local child support processes.
