Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
- Supervise the program and exercises independent judgment and analysis to interpret complex administrative plans and policies for the unit. Manages the daily activities of the unit in executing its mandate to examine, qualify, license and regulate licensees/registrants.
- Participates in the formulation, establishment or modification of program goals and objectives through analysis of alternatives, trends, available resources, and projected program needs. Participates in the program planning process by developing forecast, proposals or procedures for orderly growth and expansion of the Unit/Commission and it's mission
- Confers with other administrative officials, program heads, staff specialists or others in order to exchange information pertaining to the program or interpret policies or offer recommendations, and advises departmental officials regarding administrative practices, procedures or policies.
- Develops and disseminates updated information to maintain the accuracy and utility of the Unit's/Commission's website. Provides input as needed for updates and posting of notices and communications t licensees and citizens as well as professional organizations.
- Assist in the support and administrative duties of the Commission of Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Management companies, and Home Inspectors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Two years of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year of the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
