Main Purpose of Job
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Completion of the Eighth grade.
Experience: Four years of experience in painting work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute additional painting experience on a year-for-year basis for up to two years of the required education.
2. Candidates may substitute a certificate or a diploma from an accredited vocational school or technical high school with a concentration in painting for up to three years of the required painting experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in Painters, Construction and Maintenance classifications or Painters, Construction and Maintenance specialty codes in the Painting field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
