POSITION DUTIES
- Directs planning priorities, and oversees planning positions which create multi-agency plans.
- Acts as lead author, or supervises the creation of all necessary plans and SOPs, following Federal guidelines for inception, review and completion.
- In coordination with operations and recovery positions, creates response programs, for specific scenarios, including required documentation: scopes of work, intake, deliverables, training, publicity documents.
- Develops working knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and similar laws, policies and guidance, to ensure plans and operations are compatible with Federal, State and local laws and best practices.
- Creates presentations for meetings, as required.

· Personal Leave - new State employees are awarded six (6) personnel days annually (prorated based on start date).

· Sick Leave - fifteen (15) days of accumulated sick leave per year.
· Parental Leave - up to sixty (60) days of paid parental leave upon the birth or adoption of a child.
· Holidays - State employees also celebrate at least twelve (12) holidays per year.
· Pension - State employees earn credit towards a retirement pension.
· Positions may be eligible for telework.
