Main Purpose of Job
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university.
Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in public television, studio, live event, content development and/or media
management.
Note:
Experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for
the required education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants who possess the
following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific
information on your application regarding your qualifications.
Experience creating, producing diverse and award-winning
multiplatform (short-form, long-form social media) content for national and
local distribution.
Experience and knowledge of the latest industry trends and
practices related to media convergence impacting traditional broadcasters.
P&L experience in developing and managing content
production budgets.
Experience with growing diverse audiences and raising funds
for original productions.
Experience producing and managing a team of internal staff
producers and external independent producers.
Strong organizational, communications (written and verbal) and
interpersonal skills required.
Ability to meet stringent deadlines and work under pressure,
in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
