POSITION DUTIES
- Assisting persons with disabilities in preparing for or obtaining employment consistent with their skills, capacities and vocational choices defined on their Individualized Plan for Employment, determining eligibility for vocational services
- Providing individual career counseling to people with disabilities
- Reviewing medical, psychological and vocational data to evaluate the nature and extent of the disability
- Coordinating and providing services to consumers necessary to accommodate their disabilities and obtain employment
- Obtaining services from other community agencies for consumers
- Providing job placement, post-employment and following-up services
