Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience supervising technical and administrative personnel;
Strong interpersonal, leadership, planning, and organizational skills;
Strong written and oral communication skills to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, including permittees, environmental groups, the public, federal and local governments, and other State agencies;
Technical experience applying State and federal laws and regulations, such as the Clean Water A NPDES permits, water quality, and other science-based permits, laws, and regulations;
Experience with administrative, civil, and criminal legal processes and working with the Office of the Attorney General;
Experience with EPA databases such as ICIS, ECHO, NetDMR, and MDE's ETS database.
