The Grants Management Manager (GMM) works collaboratively with the Outreach & Grants Management (OGM) staff, Office of Student Financial Assistance staff, the Maryland State Department of Education, and others to support grant programs addressing college readiness, college access and success, and student financial literacy. The GMM leads or assists with the development of agency grant applications (e.g., federal, foundation funding sources), manages assigned sub grant programs from pre- to post-award including but not limited to Request for Application development, Review Panel management, funding recommendations, fiscal management and all post award monitoring, data/report collection, and close out. The GMM provides technical assistance to faculty, staff, and other types of grantees to assist them with application development and successful project implementation. This position may lead grant project teams as assigned. The GMM represents MHEC on work groups or tasks forces and covers for the Executive Director in his/her absence as requested. |
