Commissioner's Office - Communication Unit
  • Six months, up to 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Reviewing, approving, and publishing agency-wide website updates, press releases, event postings and public notices; 
  • Evaluating other content with a high attention to detail using the state's content management system; 
  • Sending e-newsletters; and
  • Providing technical support to website content authors within the agency.

PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)

In the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, as a limited duration employee, performs one or more of a variety of tasks and assigned duties of a seasonal nature.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

Ability to follow instructions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with website management, content management systems and newsletter platforms;
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite;
  • Experience with Content Management Systems, HTML, and website publishing; and
  • Strong grammar skills and knowledge of typography.
