At the State of Connecticut, Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) we are recruiting for an anticipated position as an Electrical Trade Instructor to join our team at Ella T. Grasso Technical High School in Groton, CT.
CTECS is seeking a dedicated Electrical Trade Instructor to provide engaging, hands-on instruction that equips students with the technical knowledge and practical skills needed for success in today's electrical and electronics industries.
In this rewarding role, you will deliver a comprehensive curriculum that blends classroom instruction with immersive laboratory experiences, helping students master circuit design, electronics systems, troubleshooting, robotics, and the safe use of industry-standard tools and equipment. You will develop and deliver engaging lessons using current instructional technologies, assess student learning, and foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where students can build confidence and technical expertise. Beyond the classroom, you will collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, and contribute to school and district initiatives that support student achievement and workforce readiness.
