The State of Connecticut, Office of the Attorney General (OAG) was officially created by the Connecticut General Assembly in 1897. The Connecticut Constitution and General Statutes authorize the Attorney General to represent the interests of the people of the State of Connecticut in all civil legal matters involving the state to protect the public interest, and to serve as legal counsel to all state agencies.
We are recruiting for one (1) full-time, permanent Human Resources Generalist 2 positions within various sections within the OAG for 40 hours week. Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

In the Department of Administrative Services, this class is deployed at an agency and is accountable for independently performing a full range of human resources duties as an agency business partner.
In a state agency outside of the State's centralized Human Resources structure, this class will be accountable for independently performing a full range of human resources and other related duties.
One (1) year of the General Experience must have been at the junior working level in human resources management.
For state employees, this is interpreted at the level of Human Resources Generalist 1, Human Resources Associate, or Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist 1.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess experience with the Core-CT HRMS System.
