The State of Connecticut, Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking two qualified individuals for the positions of Epidemiologist 2. These positions will work in the Department of Public Health's Infectious Diseases Section, providing critical epidemiologic capacity to the DPH Epidemiology and Emerging Infections Program. These Epidemiologist 2 positions will report to the Epidemiologist 3.

This position is conveniently located in Hartford, CT. The work schedule for this position is typically Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week.

In order to be considered for this job opening, you must be a current State of CT employee of the Department of Public Health, who has permanent state status*, and meets the Minimum Qualifications as listed on the job opening. You must specify your qualifications on your application.
*For employees in the classified service, permanent status is obtained after successful completion of a working test period. For employees in the unclassified service, permanent status is obtained after serving in a position for at least six months (full-time or full-time equivalent).
These positions will be filled in accordance with contractual language, reemployment, SEBAC, transfer, promotion and merit employment rules.
