Experiences Required For This Role

The Digital Product Manager (Durational Project Manager) will lead a cross-functional project team focused in driving the end-to-end product lifecycle for features and products improving the overall experience for the state’s business community. The Digital Product Manager will develop new process and methodology for the product development leadership consistent with the goals and objectives of the new Connecticut Digital Service. The work includes overall responsibility for product prioritization as well as uplifting our marketing, design, engineers, and service leaders to convert the product vision into a roadmap with the customer in mind.

Digital Product Management – At least 5 years of experience and use cases with the following:

  • Leading the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative digital experiences for business related touchpoints around planning, formation, growth, and transition
  • Creating and articulating a compelling product roadmap to build consensus and alignment with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Key partner in establishing regular cadence of embedding user research
  • Owning and prioritizing the product backlog and balancing the requirements of service owners and business stakeholders
  • Translating product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements/user stories an acceptance test criteria
  • Partnering and enabling analytics-driven decision making to evolve products with appropriate reporting to understand overall performance and user satisfaction
  • Coordinating communication, escalates and facilitates resolution of risks, issues, and changes tied to the product backlog

Digital Platforms, Tools and Discipline – At least 5 years of experience and use cases with the following:

  • Enterprise scale digital platforms specializing in at least 3: omni-channel service delivery, web content management, customer relationship management, identity and data integration
  • Leading multi-disciplinary agile teams for iterative deployment of new prototypes, software, and services
  • Establishing continuous improvement/continuous delivery pipeline to continually improve products post-launch with based on customer satisfaction
  • Leading documentation and communication throughout the product lifecycle for both technical processes and cross-functional teams affected by new change
  • Using of productivity and analysis tools to manage iterative delivery – JIRA, Google Analytics, Git Repository, MS TEAMS, Confluence

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess these other desirable skills:

  • 2 years of user centered design
  • 2 years of user research and analytics
  • 3 years of management/supervisory experience
  • 3 years experience using the Salesforce platform for customer relationship management
  • 5 years web content management experience using the Salesforce platform
  • 5 years web content management experience using Sitecore
  • Certification as a Scrum Master
