The Senior Marketing Representative serves in a lead capacity in the implementation of the marketing campaigns, outreach, and promotional activities of CATS.  Under the direction of the CATS Marketing Manager, the Senior Marketing Representative is responsible for creating and coordinating marketing campaigns, promotions, special events, and public information programs; representing CATS at external events and activities; conducting presentations to internal and external audiences; gathering, analyzing, and reporting data; and providing direct or indirect supervision to other team members on projects.  Other duties include collaborating with departments related to marketing and promotional activities to enhance CATS' presence in the community.

·    Develops, creates, coordinates, and implements integrated marketing and promotional campaigns by identifying goals and objectives, coordinating electronic and print materials, discussing options with departments, sharing promotional materials, and analyzing results.

• Performs staff support work responsible for promoting CATS ridership and communicating with CATS customers. 
• Assists in developing, preparing, and executing advertising campaigns using a variety of media including print, radio, television and direct mail, including creative development, media planning and placement, ad production and use of pre- and post-evaluations to continually refine department advertising efforts. 
• Participates in developing and coordinating campaigns to communicate messages related to courtesy, system improvement projects, fare collection and enforcement, new services, service quality, job recruitment and other areas.  
• Participates in management of brochures, publications, and other collateral; ensures that brochures have a consistent look; assists in supervision of graphics development and brochure production; develops printing specifications for brochures; obtains bids for brochure production and coordinates printing contracts.  
• Develops and updates CATS map and schedule display‐case signage; coordinates development and production of these items.  
• Responds to marketing inquiries from business, government, and the general public; develops and implements joint marketing campaigns and proposals; coordinates joint marketing campaigns with existing CATS campaigns. 
• Organizes special events and outreach activities by reviewing goals, preparing plans, identifying coordinating departments and activities, coordinating logistics, and making recommendations.
• Develops joint campaigns and cosponsorships with destination locations and recreational venues to maintain and increase CATS ridership in off‐peak hours; maintains records of trade, values granted and received; manages relationship marketing programs. 
• Produces and maintains the CATS’s graphic manual and style guide for all in-house and passenger communications. 
• Participates in the preparation and administration of the marketing program budget; submits budget recommendations; monitors expenditures. 
• Prepares analytical and statistical reports on operations and activities.
• Confers with and provides professional assistance to members of district departments on marketing matters. 
• Represents the CATS in meetings with representatives of governmental agencies, professional business and community organizations and the public.

• Must be able to work outside of traditional 8 am-5 pm working hours.

Education

· Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four (4) year college/ university with major course work in Marketing, Advertising, or related field

Experience

· Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Marketing with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, or related field with three (3) years of relevant work experience
