Summary
This position will serve as the contract administrator for CLT ground transportation and rental car activities including without limitation contracts with transportation network companies, taxi companies, limo companies, off-airport shuttles and hotels. This position will also manage contracts related to both on-airport and off-airport rental cars from a business and compliance perspective.
General Information:
• Primarily works business hours, Monday through Friday. Subject to calls and work during irregular/non-traditional hours, overtime, and emergency calls back to work.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residency and ability to obtain and maintain a City Driving Permit is required.
• Ability to pass a background check in advance of start date is required. Certain convictions will disqualify individuals from unescorted access privileges and therefore exclude from employment.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist the Parking & Ground Transportation Revenue Manager in generating optimum revenue through the effective management, marketing and development of the commercial landside products.
• Provide contract management support for airport contracts with transportation network companies, taxi companies, limo companies, off-airport shuttle and hotel shuttle services.
• Act as liaison among business and revenue, finance, operations, project lead, marketing, and systems support.
• Perform comparative analyses of fiscal and operational performance data; and analyze and interpret financial and statistical data and operating results.
• Perform statistical analysis on ground transportation model to track revenue trends, forecasts, and market shares.
• Evaluates market changes in local off-airport parking facilities and other ground transportation options to ensure CLT parking remains price and value competitive.
• Conduct analyses and assess market changes related to ground transportation services at the airport including without limitation monitoring and evaluating transportation network company and peer-to-peer operator activity and rates.
• Track and analyze transactional data to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting and submit monthly reports to finance.
• Coordinate activities between business intelligence and operations to monitor and track performance indicators to ensure parking is delivering an exceptional customer experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Familiarity with airports operations and business models is preferred.
• Familiarity with ground transportation and airport rental car models.
• Outstanding time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently to accomplish objectives
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Leadership skills with a group or organization preferred by not required.
• Effective communication and writing skills in communications within a large organization or work group (drafting newsletters, notices, policies, handbooks, etc.).
• Ability to learn and apply technology/computer skills as necessary.
• Ability to develop and implement creative new programs and activities.
• Ability to efficiently multi-task while maintaining personable skills.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, creativity and innovative thinking in a rapidly changing work environment.
• Ability to proactively develop solutions to matters that may arise while maintaining an analytical open-minded approach.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualification
Bachelor's degree in business, aviation, statistics, economics or a related field and three (3) or more years of experience in the travel/hospitality industry, revenue management, business development, operations research, pricing strategy, contract management, optimization, or decision-support analysis.

Bachelor's Degree and one year related work experience
