Summary

The Parking Program Administrator is responsible for driving incremental commercial revenue through innovative sales channels, progressive marketing and yield management. This position develops and oversees strategies for the parking business unit as part of the overall Airport goals, objectives, and budget requirements for business and revenue activities. The Parking Program Administrator represents the parking business unit to the Business and Revenue Division of the Aviation department.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Drive incremental commercial revenue through innovative sales channels, progressive marketing and yield management.
2. Create value management of Airport parking products through competitive pricing, quality product offerings, and the customer service experience. 
3. Analyze car park data to provide quality analytical analysis and insight to inform pricing decisions, marketing campaigns and other creative ideas to improve the customer experience and increase revenue. 
4. Leverage car parking modal share to brand parking at the airport the natural or ‘first choice’ when travelling to or from the Airport 
5. Lead a cross functional team to continually deliver improved customer offerings.
6. Identify and implement long-term and short-term strategic plans for Airport Parking Products considering industry changes and customer needs.  
7. Ensure that Airport maintains status as an industry leader in providing innovative parking products.
8. Represent the airport and engage with various stakeholders with the goal to establish and maintain a status as an industry leader in Airport parking innovation strategies and offerings. 
9. Influence and manage the internal stakeholder team to ensure high customer satisfaction and ensure a high-quality product offering
10. Enhance, maintain and report on the key performance indicators for the cross functional service level agreement, customer experience, competitive analysis, product and system performance
11. Contract management of numerous suppliers to drive performance within parking product e.g. security, bussing, car park system and payment providers
12. Identify, develop and coordinate the implementation of capital projects that support enhancement of the customer experience and/or meet the business needs of the department
13. Lead the continuous development of the car park information systems to ensure the business has innovative and best in class systems
14. Serve as liaison for internal audits and associated actions

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Familiarity with ground transportation and airport parking models.

Familiarity with airports and airline operations and business models is preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Leadership skills with a group or organization preferred by not required. 

Effective communication and writing skills in communications within a large organization or work group (drafting newsletters, notices, policies, handbooks, etc.).

Ability to learn and apply technology/computer skills as necessary.

Ability to develop and implement creative new programs and activities.

Ability to efficiently multi-task while maintaining personable skills. 

Ability to demonstrate initiative, creativity and innovative thinking in a rapidly changing work environment. 

Ability to proactively develop solutions to matters that may arise while maintaining an analytical open-minded approach.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Excellent influencing skills, relationship building and communication skills

Strong sales and marketing experience with a proven record of growing a business.


Preferred Qualification

Experience include data analytics in either parking and ground transportation, the airport/airline field or a related or applicable field including without limitation to government and finance.  Familiarity with municipalities and/or airports is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Graduate or Equivalent and five years related work experience

OR

Associate's Degree and three years related work experience

OR

Bachelor's Degree and one level related work experience

OR

Master's Degree
