The Parking Program Administrator is responsible
for driving incremental commercial revenue through innovative sales channels,
progressive marketing and yield management.
This position develops and oversees strategies for the parking business
unit as part of the overall Airport goals, objectives, and budget requirements
for business and revenue activities. The Parking Program Administrator
represents the parking business unit to the Business and Revenue Division of
the Aviation department.
Familiarity with ground
transportation and airport parking models.
Familiarity with airports and
airline operations and business models is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Leadership skills with a group or
organization preferred by not required.
Effective communication and writing
skills in communications within a large organization or work group (drafting
newsletters, notices, policies, handbooks, etc.).
Ability to learn and apply
technology/computer skills as necessary.
Ability to develop and implement
creative new programs and activities.
Ability to efficiently multi-task
while maintaining personable skills.

Strong sales and
marketing experience with a proven record of growing a business.
Experience include data analytics in either parking and ground
transportation, the airport/airline field or a related or applicable field
including without limitation to government and finance. Familiarity with municipalities and/or
airports is preferred.
The City’s Background Check Policy requires background checks to be conducted on final internal or external candidate(s) applying for any position with the City of Charlotte. The type of information that will be collected as part of a background check includes, but is not limited to: reference checks, social security verification, education verification, criminal conviction record check, and, if applicable, a credit history check, sex offender registry and motor vehicle records check.

Final candidates must pass a pre-employment drug-screening test and physical examination. During the selection process, candidates may be asked to take a skills test, and/or participate in other assessments.
