Nature and ScopeA class incumbent works under the general supervision of a technical superior. Work involves regularly scheduled and complaint response inspections of day care centers and group community homes to determine compliance with fire and life safety codes. A significant aspect of this work involves recommending approval/disapproval of licensing.
