The City of Tucson is seeking enthusiastic and energetic
GENERAL LABORS
for the Department of Transportation & Mobility
to provide excellent customer service for internal and external customers.
G.E.D may be waived.
NOTE: This is a non-permenent position that will work on an intermittent basis, no more then 20 hours weekly. Individuals in this classification may not exceeed 1,500 hour in a 12-month period.
The General Laborer will assist with cleanup of non-landscape areas within city rigt-of-way, drainages and alleys.
In addition they may inventory and maintain City documents, research and retrieve information for internal and external customers.
Duties may include:
Minimum Education Level & Type: High School Diploma or G.E.D. (G.E.D. may be waived).
Minimum Experience Qualifications: Under 1 year performing field labor work.
Selection inteviews may be conducted by the hiring manager.
