Inspects equipment by conducting pre- and post-checks of equipment to ensure proper operation.
Serves as a spotter by determining load contents and size, directing trucks to a location for disposal of refuse, and communicating with operators to eliminate hazards and accidents.
Provides customer service by answering questions, informing customers of disposal sites for various kinds of refuse, and handling irate customers.
Operates small equipment, washes and sanitizes disposal containers, delivers containers, retrieves old materials from garbage lines and cleans transfer stations.
Minimum Education Level & Type: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
