Responsibilities are dependent on job location.
Maintain shop, yard and fuel islands by dumping trash, cleaning fluid spills, restocking containment and abatement supplies and disposing of used material following appropriate hazard materials instruction.
Perform weekly manual fuel tank stick measurements, adds and remove vehicle decals, inspects/transports/wash/fuel vehicles. Retrieves parts and maintains information on computer.This position is for SECOND SHIFT from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with shift differential pay of $1.00/hr for hours worked between 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Minimum Education Level & Type: Less than High School
Minimum Experience Qualifications: Under 1 year of transporting vehicles and experience with waste product clean-up and disposal.
Valid and Unrestricted CDL - Class B

Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be evaluated on the education and work experience in their employment profile and the responses to their supplemental questions. The highest scoring applicants will then be invited to participate in an Panel Interview

Upon completion of all examination processes, the highest scoring applicants will be placed on the Civil Service Employment List. An applicant's ranking on the Civil Service list will be based on their final score which will be calculated as:
This recruitment will establish a civil service list that will be utilized to fill vacancies occurring within the next 6 months.
