Responsible for operating professional broadcasting equipment used in single and multi-camera productions.
Operates cameras and related field equipment, video and audio recording, video and audio editing, basic 3-point lighting, operating the production van, and acting as general production support.
Participates in pre, post, and field production activities, including photography, audio, lighting, and editing. Consults with other content specialists and video production staff to determine goals and objectives of a non-scripted municipal television production.
Sets up and operates the mobile production van; performs remote production duties including directing, switching, audio control, font operation, lighting, camera operation, floor directing teleprompter operation, general production support and set-up.
Performs on-line, computerized multiple source editing as well as off-line, single source straight cut editing.
Assists in providing general equipment care.
Consults with other content specialists and video production staff to determine goals and objectives of a non-scripted municipal television program.
Minimum Education Level & Type: High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent

License Type A,B,C,D,or M may require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage. Exceptions to classification driving requirement's may exist based on position.
