General Description

The Lead Quality Assurance and Training Analysts leads teams and performs tasks that initiate, analyze, design, develop, and implement quality assurance and training programs, processes, and procedures that improve customer satisfaction and service levels and improves the quality of life for citizens and employees.  It is expected of a Lead Quality Assurance and Training Analysts to have a broader and deeper knowledge and skills used to effectively carry out the duties outlined in the Essential Functions and be able to pass that knowledge on to others on the team and to our internal and external customers.

Distinguishing Characteristics

While assigned to a lead or senior classification, preforms lead or senior duties for a work unit. Upon direction of supervisor may assign work and establish priorities; provides first-level oversight responsibilities. 

Essential Functions

Proactively plans and conducts project and product tests and analyze test and training data to provide executive leadership, stakeholders and end-users quality and training solutions for driving business performance and investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity in collaboration with other ITD resources.

Leads a team and performs tasks that work closely with customers to understand and maintain focus on their quality assurance and training needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs and delivering actionable insights to relevant decision-makers. Coach junior team members to enhance their skills and provide opportunities for learning and career growth

Research and implement industry-standard test and analysis frameworks to perform testing, planning, and direct workflows

Create and maintain high quality, independent, online, video, and classroom training material through product analysis and user requirements interpretation by integrating various content delivery components from multiple sources. Create and Maintain project management and issue tracking system data and workflows as needed.

Monitor quality trends to bring challenges to the forefront


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge in Testing and Training development

Skill in writing test plans and test cases using industry-standard test methodologies

Skill in executing and debug test cases

Skill in creating/presenting training for stakeholders online, in classrooms, webinars, and videos.

Skill in work with internal customers and vendors on highly complex projects and enterprise applications

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION LEVEL & TYPEBachelor’s Degree in MIS.

EXPERIENCE:  At least five years’ experience as a Quality Assurance and training Analyst

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE EQUIVALENCY: Any combination of training, education, and work experience equivalent to    9     years of relevant experience may be acceptable.

This position operates in a professional office environment.

Physical Demand/Levels

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This position would require the ability to Sit, Stand, Bend, Reach, View Monitors, Use Repetitive Motions, as well as Talking, Listening, Customer/Client Contact.
