Processes paperwork and information requests by entering required information into specified fields, checking for stolen serial numbers and property, responding to research requests, reviewing material for errors, checking information against other sources, making calculations, making corrections as needed, forwarding information to the appropriate department or agency, designing reports based on requirements, sorting and entering information into computer databases and systems.
Maintains the 911 Master Street Address Guide and other address and mapping databases. Checks county maps and assesses records to resolve errors.
Maintains information by keeping various logs and records, and managing the storage and destruction of information.
Provides information by responding to telephone calls, checking materials in and out to personnel, and sorting and distributing information to internal and external customers.
Prepares reports and reviews report entries by reviewing and entering information into the prescribed format according to department policies and procedures, hand counting documents and preparing summary reports, and coding and checking for duplicate information.
Assists with isolating and correcting problems, implementing procedural changes, and sharing information regarding computer programs with City staff.

Under Safety Sensitive a "Yes" means employees with this classification are subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. License Type A,B,C,D,or M may require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage.
