Maintaining the 911 Master Street Address Guide and other address and mapping databases.
Checking county maps and assessing records to resolve errors.
Validating the countywide mapping information with the MSAG and computer aided dispatch databases.
Analyzing maps and legal descriptions to determine proper Police, Fire and medical jurisdictions.
Researching phone numbers and address location requests from all emergency service agencies in Pima Count to resolve all discrepancies.
Maintaining information by keeping various logs and records, and managing the storage and destruction of information.
Preparing reports and reviews report entries by reviewing and entering information into the prescribed format according to department policies and procedures, hand counting documents and preparing summary reports, and coding and checking for duplicate information.
Assisting with isolating and correcting problems, implementing procedural changes, and sharing information regarding computer programs with City staff.
Assisting with personnel actions, including employee hiring processes, researching and analyzing employee issues, and documenting findings and actions.
Performing various administrative duties by ordering supplies and equipment, entering various information into the system, scheduling meetings, appointments and shifts for staff, researching, preparing and processing paperwork and other materials, compiling data, creating, preparing and reviewing correspondence and reports, attending meetings and workshops and participating in the development of divisional policies.
Providing information by responding to telephone calls, checking materials in and out to personnel, and sorting and distributing information to internal and external customers.
Minimum Education Level & Type: 6 months post High School
Minimum Experience Qualifications: 1 year and over of experience in administrative support, including research and analysis, computer record keeping, data control and composition

The following information pertains to driving requirements for this classification with the City of Tucson. Under "Driving Level" None, Secondary or Primary, refers to the driving responsibility as it relates to the essential functions of the classification. License Type, is just that, the type of Arizona Driving License required for the classification. If the position requires a Commercial Drivers License (CDL), the endorsements will be listed under "Endorsements." Under Safety Sensitive a "Yes" means employees with this classification are subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. License Type A,B,C,D,or M may require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage. Exceptions to classification driving requirement's may exist based on position.
