Researches, analyzes and summarizes administrative topics and programs by providing written summaries and detailed reports on assigned tasks and assisting with other administrative projects as required or directed.
Provides support and assistance to the other personnel by receiving phone calls, answering questions, assisting visitors, and performing other office duties.
Assists the department management by processing ID cards, entering information into system, taking pictures, and producing documents.
Performs related duties such as: writing requests for purchase orders and blanket purchase orders, travel orders, confirmation requests and documents relating to new hires, receiving orders, issuing uniforms, maintaining inventory control, scheduling, composing documents for training, entering times into computer for reservations, forming committees, calling to confirm times, receiving deposit payments, and issuing receipts.
Provides administrative support by developing goals and strategies, writing memos and correspondence, developing forms, maintaining databases and records, evaluating websites, holding meetings, tracking invoices, producing reports, developing policies and procedures, coordinating and supervising training, assisting with presentations, developing and assisting with meetings and explaining equipment usage.

License Type A,B,C,D,or M may require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage.
