General Description

Coordinates and manages administrative office functions for a City Manager Program Department. Performs research and analytical work in support of administrative, financial, and personnel functions.

Essential Functions

Prepare draft agenda.

Tracks future agenda items and requests.

Responsible for maintenance of the Agenda Office internet and intranet websites.

Coordinates with the City Managers office, the Mayors office and department directors to ensure timely receipt and signatures of agenda material.

Attends and records Agenda Committee meetings.

Prepares Agenda Committee meeting minutes.

Prepares LARs for the Agenda Committee ·Ensures the Agenda Committee LAR is posted to the City's website timely.

Using the SIRE Agenda Plus software compiles and publishes the agendas and all material to the City's website.

Troubleshoots for individuals using SIRE Agenda Plus to complete agenda items.

Assists new users in how the system works.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education Level & Type: 6 months post High School

Minimum Experience Qualifications: At least 1 year experience in administrative support, including research and analysis, computer record keeping and composition

Driving Requirements

License Type A,B,C,D,or M may require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage. Exceptions to classification driving requirement's may exist based on position.
