Above and beyond any other consideration, truthfulness is the most important factor in the employment process and in a law enforcement career.  Any indication that an applicant is not completely truthful, open, and candid on any application form, in the interviews, or in a phase of the application process, will result in immediate disqualification.

Within the last twelve (12) months, have you failed to complete a Field Training Program with another law enforcement agency?

Have you ever sold marijuana, prescription drugs, or any other narcotic?

• Option 1 #: Proof of State of Florida Certificate of Compliance as a Law Enforcement Officer

• Option 2 #: Proof of current enrollment in a Florida Criminal Justice Training Commission sanctioned Law Enforcement Academy via the following 3 documents:
  • Copy of Florida Basic Abilities Test (FBAT)
  • Copy of current academy Physical Abilities Test (PAT results)
  • Letter of Good Standing from academy director or authorized designee on official letterhead (the letter must include anticipated graduation date and confirmation of successful completion of firearms, vehicle operations and defensive tactics training)
