This is highly responsible analytical and technical work involving all
phases of the Stormwater Assessment Program.
Considerable
knowledge of: Public utility systems, preferably Stormwater Assessments.
City Code, regulations, and procedures. Business English and accepted practices
of grammar and composition; Customer Service.
Working knowledge of: GIS systems (ArcGIS, ArcMap); researching spatial data availability from internal and
external sources; modern office practices, procedures and equipment; software
(including Excel, Access and Adobe);
Ability to: Collect, assimilate, analyze, and
interpret data to draw sound conclusions; prepare oral and written reports; access
and use automated databases; understand and follow complex oral and written
instructions; read, understand and interpret property records and legal
documents; maintain files and records. Positive interpersonal skills,
exercise of tact and courtesy, and effective writing skills are required.
Graduation from an
accredited high school and five (5) years of experience in data analysis to
include customer service
experience within a public utilities, real estate or similar environment; and
one (1) year of experience in the use of a commercial GIS software package (ArcGIS,
ArcMap); or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Evaluation of education and experience. Drug testing is included in all pre-employment processing.
